Each second is as important as each other.Think of the waste of resources that goes into making art.The plundering of the planet to make pigments,oils,resins.The insectacides used in the growing of cotton, linen, to produce canvas, paper.The trees felled in the making of stretchers, frames.All this wastage so that the Artist can produce an image that the vast majority of the population have no interest in at all.The storage space and human resources that go into maintaining these millions of images is huge.The millions of families left with hundreds of millions of images after the Artist in the family dies, the stress and guilt they go through now they are the guardians of the images.The images i now make have a low carbon footprint.They exist only on my laptop, taken directly with a web cam.When someone wants to own one, only then will it be printed out and exist as solid matter.My exhibitions will only be on my laptop, or as projections from laptop onto gallery wall.When i die simply erase my hard disk.2008 Tour of major european galleries exhibiting with my laptop gallery (For your gallery to be included please contact me)I may just turn up anyway!Kelvin BurrI have been painting/creating and exhibiting since the age of 16 Born in East London now live and work in Totnes Devon
